Burj Khalifa (Downtown Dubai) | About the Location

Burj Khalifa already an area of impressive innovation and development, Dubai is set to make waves once again with the construction of what is planned to be the tallest building in the world. Called Burj Khalifa (which translates to �Dubai Tower� in Arabic), the building will serve as the future centerpiece of Downtown Dubai, which itself is the most prestigious urban development in the Gulf region. Although the exact height of Burj Khalifa has yet to be announced, initial announcements have pegged the height to more than 700 meters. The design of Burj Khalifa is said to be influenced by the familiar six petal flower that grows in the region�s desert.

Burj Khalifa will be located on Sheikh Zayed Road, after the Defense Roundabout. Featuring a picturesque man-made lake, the building will be at the center of a burgeoning community comprised of residential, commercial, entertainment, and leisure establishments. More than just an urban center, the area will also feature plenty of wide open spaces, lush greenery, water attractions, and pedestrian thoroughfares.

Burj Khalifa | Burj Residence (The Residence)

The Burj Khalifa Residence is only one of the many residential areas in Downtown Dubai, but it definitely has what it takes to impress. With no less than nine luxury apartment towers, gorgeous views of open water and lush greenery, Burj Residence will also feature a variety of leisure and entertainment facilities including gyms, pools and spas. Each tower in the settlement will have a selection of residential units, ranging from 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom suites to penthouses and villas.
